What are the causes of kidney infection?
Generally, kidney infection starts in the bladder or urethra- a type of tube that passes urine out of the bladder. A bladder infection can take place if bacteria enter into urethra and bladder through the private parts. From the bladder, the bacteria can travel to the kidneys. In men, this infection can start sometimes because of prostate infection. While any other infection in the body can cause kidney infection as well. In some rare cases, it is found that a person is at a higher risk of spreading bladder infection to kidneys if his urinary system is abnormal.
